Today we continue the countdown of the Top 10 moments of the 2017-2018 school year at Pella Christian with number six.

A pivotal week two switch in the Pella Christian lineup transformed their good football team into a state title contender in the 2017 season. Hayden Vroom moved from slot receiver to quarterback in Class 1A’s most prolific offense in 2017.

Vroom and Junior Noah Treimer formed one of the state’s most formidable duos — scoring 292 of the team’s best in 1A 548 points, and combining for 3,182 yards from scrimmage–not counting the 1,501 combined as passers.

Pella Christian finished their best season in program history with an 11-1 record and their first ever trip to the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls.
