The Top 10 countdown continues for PCM sports for 2017-18 with number three.
The PCM boys’ golf team had plenty of experience for the 2018 campaign and it showed in the final week of the season, as the Mustangs placed second in class 2A at the state meet in Marshalltown. PCM was third coming into the second day when all counted scores shot below 80 in the final 18-holes to seal the runner-up finish. The Mustangs had a two-day score of 619 strokes, 15 strokes shy of a state title. Noah Lanphier led the team with a 36-hole tally of 152 (+12).
Four of the top six golfers for the Mustangs were seniors.
