Activities continue at Lake Red Rock this weekend.
On Friday, Let’s Go Fishing will be held at Whitebreast Campground at 7 p.m., with a park ranger sharing the basics about fishing, or it’s just a time for anyone who pre-registers to enjoy fishing on the lake. Participants 16 years of age or older must possess a valid 2018 Iowa fishing license. An Owl Puke Investigation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Red Rock Visitor Center, as participants can take a closer look at what owls leave behind after they eat. P
ond exploration begins at 1 p.m. at the Playscape Saturday, followed by a Butterfly Safari at 3 p.m. at Wallashuck Campground. Pre registration is required for the fishing event, but all other activities do not require signing up in advance.
