The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers held a public open house event Wednesday to seek input on the Des Moines River Basin Master Reservoir Regulation Manual Feasibility Report.
Chief of the Hydrology Branch for the Rock Island District Kevin Landwehr tells KNIA/KRLS News the Corps has gathered a recommendation on revisions to the manual, which includes the water control plans for Saylorville Lake and Lake Red Rock. Proposed updates were discussed during the meetings and staff was on hand to answer questions and discuss comments.
