Plans have been finalized for the 2018 Ruck for Vets event scheduled for August 25th.
Participants will carry 35 pounds of gear and can walk, run or jog with all proceeds from the event will going towards the VFW 3519 Relief Fund. Senior Vice Commander Michael Braman tells KNIA/KRLS News the community and sponsor support is a point of pride for the organization because it shows how much the town cares about veterans and it is a big part of the community’s identity and makes him proud to live in Knoxville.
