A white car went off the roadway on Highway G40 Sunday afternoon, rolling over several times before ending up in a 30-plus foot ditch.
At approximately 3:10pm, a white car traveling eastbound near the Highway 14 intersection went off the roadway before striking trees and flipping. The lone occupant exited the vehicle and called emergency services, and denied medical treatment on scene. The cause of the accident and condition of the vehicle are unknown. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Knoxville Fire Department all responded to the scene.
