The Pella Public Library is hosting a program called The Foundations of Reading and Writing: Reflex Integration and Sensory Processing.
Elise Spronk with Kinetic Edge Physical Therapy tells KNIA/KRLS News she will discuss how help children succeed with reading and writing by working on reflex integration and sensory processing skills. Participants will learn about signs to look for and basic activities to help promote strong developmental skills necessary for reading and writing, among other academic skills and behavior.
Spronk is hosting the session on Monday from 6:00-7:00 PM in the Library Meeting Room. Sign up is required by contacting the Pella Public Library for the free program, as seating is limited.
