Brad Sweet had the best car, best team, and the best all-around everything for the last week at the Knoxville Raceway. His week began last Sunday by dominating the Capitani Classic, then blowing away the field in his preliminary of the 58th Annual 5 Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals on Thursday, and finally winning the finale of the Nationals. Sweet led 48 of the 50 laps, and held off Donny Schatz by .13 after a green/white/checkered finish. Sweet said afterwards it was hard to believe he actually won the biggest event of the year. Kyle Larson came home third, with Aaron Reutzel in fourth and Tim Kaeding in fifth. 16 year old Gio Scelzi was named Rookie of the Nationals with his 14th place finish.
