A plea deal was reached on drug charges for an Oskaloosa man Thursday, as Jeromy Garman received a 15 year sentence.
Garman was originally arrested after failing to pull over on Highway 5 and exceeding the speed limit by over 25 mph in an attempt to flee, before finally being apprehended with meth, packaging materials, and a digital scale in his possession. Garman pled guilty to possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a class C felony, and received 15 years due to habitual offender status, and five years for eluding, a class D felony, with those sentences run concurrently. Garman will now be sent to Jefferson County to address a probation matter before being sent to prison.
