It could be called one of the weirdest nights ever at the Knoxville Raceway on Saturday…and it almost did not happen. At about 6:30 on Saturday, the raceway grounds lost all power and forced track officials to hold up the night for over two hours. After Mid-American Energy repaired the problem, the lights came on and racing went on. Austin McCarl was crowned the 410 champion after he finished runner-up in the A-Main to Kerry Madsen. Clint Garner claimed the 360 title. His road to the title was not going to be easy as he needed to finish no worse than eighth in the A-Main to outscore Ryan Giles, however Giles had a mechanical issue on the first lap and was never a factor. Eric Bridger had already nailed down the 305 title by the time the A-Main took the green flag. Ryan Leavitt won the 305 feature to close out his season on second place in points.
