Central College’s Central RED Society is a lifelong learning program that enriches members’ lives through relevant, broad-based learning experiences.
The group will celebrate the start of its 2018-19 academic year with a social gathering. Members of the public are invited to attend the Central RED Society Kick-Off Celebration at 5:30 p.m. this evening. The celebration will take place in the Graham Annex on Central’s campus. Cost is $15 to attend. Participants do not need an affiliation with Central to join, and a membership with Central RED is not required to attend the kick off event.
The first RED event is with Vern Den Herder, a former NFL football player and a 1971 Central graduate. He will share stories about his long football career with the NFL’s Miami Dolphins and detail his interesting life of unplanned choices. Membership is required to attend the dinner and program at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, in the Graham Annex
