The Pleasantville volleyball team will look to get in the win column tonight for the first time in 2018 when they welcome Madrid to town.
The young Trojans have lost their first two contests against Earlham and Des Moines Christian. Despite the slow start, first year head coach Joel Allman has made a positive impact on his team in the early part of the year. Senior Taylor Foley tells KNIA/KRLS Sports she likes how he is straight forward with the team.
“We work a lot on skill work and he is able to tell us what we are doing wrong. He helps us and shows us how to do it better and the whole coaching staff works to make us better.”
Pleasantville will look to see that skill work on display against a 1-1 Madrid squad. It all gets started at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Pleasantville High School.
