The Marion County Development Commission (MCDC) is now accepting applications for the 2018-19 Leadership Red Rock Class.
Leadership Red Rock is a seven-session leadership-training program for professionals in the business, nonprofit, education, service and government sectors.
The Leadership Red Rock program provides participants with connections to current leaders, insight into effective teams, opportunities for meaningful volunteer service, understanding of key issues shaping the area and time for personal reflection. Leadership Red Rock started in 1993, with the ultimate goal of developing a core of informed leaders qualified to meet the future challenges in growing our economy and enhancing our quality of life.
Over 400 people have completed the program representing a wide array of careers, backgrounds and ages. Applications are due by September 30. Class sessions are held once a month from October to April from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at various locations about the county. Tuition for the program is $175 per individual or $495 for a team of three participants from the same employer.
