The Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad took the first step in turning around the program with a five game win over Mormon Trail last night 25-22, 19-25, 25-21, 23-25, and 15-11. Coach Jesyka Nolte told KNIA/KRLS Sports they missed some serves early which caused them to play catch up in some of the games, but was overall happy with the girl’s play. Grace Overgaard led the Saints with nine kills, Kacey Enfield was perfect in 17 serve attempts with three aces, and Lilly Bennett had 11 digs. Melcher-Dallas begins the season at 1-0.
