The Melcher-Dallas Cross Country Program is building. The Saints have four boys and just two girls, but one of the girls just got their first career win Monday in Albia. J’Lyn Knutson crossed the finish line first and her coach Amy Stuart tells KNIA/KRLS Sports she has bought into the whole cross country training regimen. Four boys make up the rest of the squad, and Stuart adds another runner is coming out, and should be ready by next week. The Saints run at the Wayne Invitational tonight.
