Flash flooding is possible after several rounds of overnight storms dropped heavy rain in the area.
A flash flood watch is in effect for Marion, Mahaska, Jasper, Lucas, Monroe, and Poweshiek Counties in south central Iowa.
According to the National Weather Service, widespread rainfall totals of 1-4 inches fell in the area impacted by the watch, with several rounds of heavy rainfall possible through Sunday morning.
