The Pella Police Department has had a new liaison working with students in the Tulip City this academic year.
Officer Nathan Wolff, who has served since 2014, is the designated representative to assist students, teachers, and administrators at Pella and Pella Christian schools. Wolff tells KNIA/KRLS News he looks forward to helping foster a safe school environment.
Long-term, the Pella Police Department is seeking resources for a full-time school resource officer, but in the meantime, they intend to continue their law enforcement class at the Career Academy of Pella.
