Housing will remain a focus of the Pella CIty Council at their meeting this evening.
The council will consider a planned unit development agreement to establish a new townhouse project. An ordinance will be reviewed that would change the zoning at the property at the old Webster Elementary School to allow for the creation of a unique, 41-unit housing development called Webster Park. They will also consider an ordinance to enter into a development agreement with Harvest Investments, LLC, to create Vintage Cooperatives at Bos Landen, a $13.5 million building that would provide 41 units of housing to those 55 and older, as well as 10 single family houses.
Additionally, they will establish public hearing dates to award bids for Brook Circle Distribution Conversion and Northside Distribution Circuit projects, as well as Phase II of the Pella Sports Park project.
The Pella City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
