The Knoxville Airport will host their annual Fly-In/Drive-In Breakfast tomorrow.
The breakfast will include sausage, eggs, and biscuits and gravy and will be served from 7-11am. Children’s activities include inflatables, a petting zoo, and rides, while families will be able to enjoy airplane rides, classic cars, Mercy One Helicopter, RC airplanes, and more. Dan Van Donselaar with the airport tells KNIA/KRLS News it’s not only an opportunity for locals to see the airport, but meet the people who use it as many out of state people will be flying in to meet the locals and bring their planes to be on display.
Entry for adults costs $7, children cost $5, and fly-ins and children under the age of five are free. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio will be on location playing music, making announcements, and providing local information.
