The Pella Public Library will be celebrating National Coloring Day by offering a variety of coloring opportunities for the public.
Activities will take place during library hours in the Library Great Room on Friday from 10 am-6 pm and Saturday from 10 am-5 pm. A table with a 6-foot by 2-foot coloring mural will be set up for artists of all ages to gather around to color together. Other tables will have coloring supplies ready, and bookmarks to color will be offered at the front desk.
National Coloring Day has been celebrated on September 14th since 2015 and people are encouraged to take some quiet time that day to color, whether in a coloring book or on blank paper, and with any type of coloring implements from crayons to colored pencil to pastels.
