In a blistering 4-0 start to the season for the PCM football team there has been no shortage of offensive production and a big reason why is the eye-popping numbers in the run game.
The Mustangs concluded non-district play with 1,152 yards on the ground game that stands alone atop of class 2A along with their 16 touchdowns. With a plethora of weapons on that side of the ball, senior Wes Cummings has paced the offense with 570 yards rushing and eight touchdowns that ranks second in the district for both categories. Reed Worth has torched teams using his legs and his arm racking up 342 yards on the ground to complement 570 through the air. That run game has helped the Mustangs topple their opponents by an average of 40 points through four games.
PCM (4-0) will start up their district play this Friday against Chariton (4-0).
