It was an encouraging Saturday tournament filled with improvement for the Eagles volleyball team at Bondurant.
Pella Christian finished the day 3-2 overall, with wins over Nevada in 3 (17-21, 22-20, 15-13), Gilbert in 3 (25-23, 21-23, 16-14), and Cedar Rapids Kennedy in 2 (21-18, 21-13), and losses to No. 3 in 4A DCG in 3 sets (8-21, 21-17, 8-15), No. 8 in 4A Bondurant in 2 sets (12-21, 15-21).
The Eagles jump back to 8-11 and look to carry that momentum into an extended homestand this week, starting with Grinnell Tuesday.
