The No. 6 in 4A Lady Dutch volleyball team swept Newton off of the Pella High School gymnasium floor, winning in straight sets (25-19, 25-12, 25-14) Tuesday.
Emily Holterhaus was once again sensational, committing just one error on a 21-kill night, and she now sits just six away from 1500 in her career. Natalie Clayberg added eight kills, and Jenna Schulte had six kills and three blocks.
Pella improves to 16-4 and is off until next Tuesday, when they travel to Oskaloosa.
