Kids will have a chance to meet their favorite superheroes, and enjoy the chance to read, during an event coming up on Saturday.
“Super Hero Roll and Read” will be held at the Marion County Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children will get to walk the trails with their favorite heroes, hear stories and get free food and prizes.
The first sixty families in attendance will each receive a free book; there will also be a coloring station, face painting and a raffle drawing.
The Marion County Public Health Department and Parents as Teachers will be co-hosting the event; you can park by the main entrance, and walk to shelter house three for the day’s events.
