It’s homecoming at Pella, where the 5-0 Little Dutch will take on 0-5 South Tama.
While the Little Dutch are prohibitive favorites to win their 37th straight district game, coach Jay McKinstrey says that he’s talked to the guys about working this week towards more than just this game.
“We feel like if we show up tonight and play really well that we’ll be in good shape.  But it’s really how do we improve now this week, and that was the challenge to the guys – how do we elevate our play.  Not necessarily for this week, but as we progress, we have to keep getting better every week. You hear that from probably every coach you talk to, but we are, we’re playing for the season and the journey.  Not just for this game, but how do we keep improving.”
