Central College played host this week to the regional Future Ready Summit for south central Iowa.

President Mark Putnam tells KNIA/KRLS News community colleges and four-year institutions like Central play the critical role in ensuring students receive the education they need after high school. Putnam says in order for the Future Ready Iowa goal of education 70 percent of the state’s workers after their initial diploma is to be achieved, it will take continued collaboration between the government, education, and business sectors.
