Melcher-Dallas had quite possibly the longest day of any of our area teams. The Saints moved up the start time to their game due to weather to six P-M, but had to wait out a delay that actually made the game start at their normal seven P-M. Then, another delay for about two hours just before halftime made fans and players wait around. After everything was over at around 11pm Friday night, the Saints came away with a 34-22 win over Colo-NESCO. Coach Bart Elliott told KNIA/KRLS Sports a lot of players were instrumental in the win. He credited Blaise Cooper, Ethan Harrington, and Joe Branson plus the offensive and defensive lines. The Saints are now 3-4 on the season and will travel to Meskwaki Settlement next week.
