A flood warning is in effect until 10:30 p.m. for several counties in south central Iowa, including the southeast corner of Marion County.

Monroe, Southeastern Lucas, and Mahaska Counties are also included in the warning. Radar estimates show that one to three inches of rain fell in the warned area overnight, with more coming today. Since Sunday morning, 1.53″ of rain has fallen at Cedar Creek near Bussey, and 5.28 inches since Thursday evening.

Highway 92 is closed in both directions near Muchikinock Creek west of Oskaloosa. Those traveling to Knoxville should use Elevator Road (T-17) to connect to Highway 163 east.
