Despite a hot start, the Pleasantville volleyball team could not hold off West Central Valley last night falling in four sets.

The Trojans opened the night with a 25-21 set one win, but couldn’t capitalize after that losing 25-23, 25-18, and 25-19. Head Coach Joel Allman tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he liked what he saw early.

“The girls played well in the first set. In the second set our serve receive wasn’t the best but we were still battling. By the end we just had one hitter with the hot hand in Sam Entinger and couldn’t get others going.”

The Trojans fall to 3-17 on the year and close out the regular season tomorrow hosting ACGC.
