We have reached the point of the cross country season where all high school runners hope to “peak” in preparation for the state qualifying meet on Thursday.

Pleasantville runners will have their opportunity when they travel to Panorama along with 14 other teams in the class 2A state qualifier. The Trojans could have a leg up on their competitors, as they ran in Panorama last week for conference and numerous runners had season best times. Hailee McCormick and Jordan Dursky headlined the action receiving all-conference honors.

The chance to qualify for the state meet in Fort Dodge will get started at 4 p.m. Thursday in Panorama.
