The Knoxville Volleyball Squad embarks on the class 4A regional tonight as the Panthers open up by hosting Carlisle. The 17-14 Panthers already have a win over the Wildcats this season, but it was the second match of the campaign and Coach Mollie Keitges knows they are a better team. She tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, the key is to stop Carlisle’s twin towers of Molly Hoekstra, and Meredith Hoffman, who was second in kills in the Raccoon River Conference with 296. Knoxville’s Katie Keitges with 299 kills has more than either Hoffman or Hoekstra. The winner tonight will get a shot at number seven Pella next Tuesday night in the regional semi-final.
