The Pleasantville (2-6) football team will try to finish the 2018 campaign on a strong note tonight, when they travel to face Woodward Academy (2-6).

The Trojans are coming off of a game where they gave undefeated Interstate-35 a scare, but ultimately fell last week 35-14. The Trojan offense will look to find their stride against an Eagle (2-6) defense that gives up an average of 40 points per game. Pleasantville head Coach Mack Jorth tells KNIA/KRLS Sports offensively the Eagles want to spread you out and utilize their athletes.

“We have to cover a lot of green grass this week. They can run with their tailback and a few receivers that can do the same so we have to be able to contain. We have to be sound defensively to come out with a win.”

The season finale will get started at 7 p.m. tonight in Woodward. Tune into the KNIA3 Stream at kniakrls.com to hear all of the coverage starting at 6:30 p.m.
