The Pleasantville cross country teams closed their season last night traveling to Panora for the state-qualifying meet.

No runners qualified for the state meet next week but the girls had a strong showing finishing seventh out of 12 teams with 165 points. Jordan Dursky led the Trojans in 21st with a time of 23:07. Hailee McCormick was not far behind in 26th and Emmie Kenyon came in at 28th. The boys’ finished in 14th place out of 15 with 406 points. Devon Luing paced the team in 32nd including being the seventh fastest freshman with a time of 19:22. Jeremy Colboth was 87th and Jack Lauer was 94th.
