It’s a new season for the Pleasantville volleyball team tonight, as they start up their postseason hosting Interstate-35 for a class 2A region 5 quarterfinal matchup.

The Trojans (3-18) defeated the Roadrunners (2-20) in their only meeting of the year back on September 4th three sets to none. Pleasantville is well rested, as they have had 10 days off since their regular season finale against ACGC. Interstate-35 qualified for the meeting tonight after a 3-1 victory over Martensdale-St. Marys last week.

The winner of tonight’s contest will play the winner of Pella Christian and Cardinal on Thursday. The chance to move on gets started at 7 p.m. tonight in Pleasantville.
