While Twin Cedars did not make the eight-man playoffs, the Sabers had a much better than a lot of people thought season. After the first two games in which the Sabers lost by a combined 117-14 the Sabers won four of their next five games before going 1-4 to end the season. Coach Cam Parker is happy with how the season turned out especially after the first two games. The Sabers also had to deal with not having their starting quarterback Daniel Beary due to illness. Parker says freshman Dallas Clark filled in well, and should be in competition to be the starter next year.
