The PCM (9-0) football team starts up their postseason journey tomorrow night welcoming Kuemper Catholic (5-4) to town for the first round of the class 2A playoffs.

The Knights finished the season strong going 4-1 in district play and averaged 30 points a game in that span. The solid offensive numbers were a direct result of a balanced attack on that side of the ball. The near 50-50 run pass team is headlined by their quarterback Cole Collison, racking up 1,221 passing yards and 14 touchdowns while throwing the ball nearly 20 times a game. Collison likes to spread the wealth, as five receivers have multiple receiving touchdowns on the year led by Justin Schaefer with four on 340 yards. Nate Wendl provides a nice compliment in the run game with 773 yards on the ground and five touchdowns. The Knight offense will surely be tested however, as the Mustangs have given up a measly six points a game.

The battle on the gridiron gets started tomorrow at 7 p.m. in Monroe.
