Changes have been made to the billing procedures for the Indianola Fire Department for the use of their ambulances.

Individuals who have received the emergency medical services will no longer go through the fire department, but through Intermedix Corporation. The department will send all information to Intermedix, who will then handle all claims with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers. Payments can still be made to the Indianola Fire Department, but all checks must be delivered to the Intermedix Address.
