Pella firefighters battled a barn fire for a few hours on Sunday afternoon.

Pella Fire Chief Doug Van Gorkom tells KRLS News emergency crews responded to the intersection of Highway T-15 and Highway G-28 at approximately 4:18 p.m. He says nobody was injured, and believes the fire may have started from an electrical wire connected to the structure, which may have been impacted by wind. Pella Ambulance, Pella Police, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded.
