Pella Cross Country Coach Doug Cutler was named at at-large coach of the year in the Class 3A boys and girls categories by the Iowa Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Little and Lady Dutch were back among the elite runners of the state, finishing in 5th and 6th place respectively at the state meet.

Cutler finished his 14th season with Pella High School, leading both the boys and girls teams to the state meet 13 times each.
