A documentary on homelessness across America, and how those affected by it are dealing with their troubles, will be featured on Wednesday at the Knoxville Public Library.

A screening of the film “Storied Streets” will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the library’s temporary home inside the former West Elementary School in Knoxville.

This film looks at thirteen different families whose lives have been impacted by homelessness, and the varying ways in which they have dealt with the problem.

The viewing is sponsored by Crisis Intervention Services of Oskaloosa; actress Susan Sarandon is the executive producer for the movie, which is directed by Thomas Morgan and Jack Robbins.

Staff members from Crisis Intervention Services will be on hand to answer questions, and provide information about what type of help is available.
