The all-district teams were recently released for Class 1A District 7 and 12 Pleasantville football players were recognized.

Cale Anthony, Daniel Kenyon, and Grant Fouch headlined the squad being named to the first team. Anthony was selected as linebacker and punter. His 59 tackles including seven for a loss led the team and his 36.5-yard punt average was second in the district. Kenyon was the anchor of an offensive line that paved the way for 1,740 rushing yards on the year. Fouch was a shutdown defensive back and also tallied 13 tackles.

Individuals selected to the second team were Cael Lester at runningback, Ragan Krichau at tight end, Max Hinners at offensive line, Dakota Perkins at defensive line, Caylor Clark at linebacker, and Aaron Wilkins at defensive back. Trojans recognized for honorable mention were Quintin Berglund at linebacker, Matthew Kauffman as offensive line, and Hunter Oliva at defensive back.

At their end of the year banquet last week, Pleasantville named Caylor Clark and Cale Anthony captains for the 2019 campaign. The Trojans finished the season 3-6.
