A Milwaukee woman is facing theft charges after stealing a vehicle in Indianola.

According to court records, Destiney Bannister stole a 2014 red Nissan Sentra from a victim in Indianola, as well as a purse which contained cash, debit cards, and personal identification materials, before being apprehended by Indianola Police. Bannister is charged with theft in the 1st degree, a class C felony, and theft in the 4th degree. A preliminary hearing date is scheduled for November 26th.
