Pella Historical Society and Museums will be celebrating the holidays.
Executive Director Valerie Van Kooten tells KRLS News they have transformed the Historical Village to include Christmas decor. On Saturday, December 1st, Van Kooten says they will celebrate the arrival of Sinterklaas downtown with a parade and morning filled with activities. The parade starts at 10 a.m., with kids invited to participate dressed for the holidays at 9:45 at Scholte Church. Sinterklaas will address the community at 10:30 on the Tulip Toren.
The annual Lights at Night holiday concert will be held on Friday, December 14th at 7 p.m. at Scholte Church, with middle school students performing Christmas favorites.
