The PCM football team enjoyed plenty of success in 2018 with a program’s first state title and Iowa Wrestling predicts much of the same this winter for the wrestling team, as the Mustangs open the season ranked number one in class 2A.

Six Mustangs are ranked headlined by defeating state champion at 170 lbs Lucas Roland. The senior will open the year ranked number one at 182 lbs. Sitting at number two is Colby Tool at 145 lbs and Wes Cummings at 160 lbs. Other ranked Mustangs include Jarron Trausch fifth at 170 lbs, Payton Drake eighth at 126 lbs, and Landon Fenton ninth at 113 lbs.

The Mustangs open the season December 1st at Dallas Center-Grimes for a tournament.
