A Norwalk man was arrested on theft charges by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
According to court documents, 38-year-old David Meyer was accused of taking a chainsaw valued at over $1400 from his employer. Meyer denied taking the chainsaw, and was found to have dropped it off at another employees house after claiming he took it to get it fixed. Meyer did not return phone call requests by the employee or authorities, and is currently on probation for another theft occurring in Polk County. Meyer is charged with theft in the 2nd degree, a class D felony.
