The Blizzard Warning in Marion, Lucas, and Warren Counties and Winter Weather Advisory in Jasper County have been cancelled.

The Blizzard Warning in Mahaska, Poweshiek and Monroe Counties will continue until midnight.

Marion County Road Department crews will not run after dark this evening. The forecast is for strong winds and blowing snow to continue. For the safety of their employees and other motorists, they will resume at 4:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Some areas south and east of Knoxville received over a foot of snow today. Many area roadways remain partially or completely covered with snow. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest winter weather information.
