While the girls basketball teams have a few games under their belts, the kickoff to the winter sports season begins this week for the boys basketball, wrestling, and bowling teams in the Tulip City.

Pella Christian welcomes ADM to Eagle Lane for a girls-boys twin bill Tuesday evening. Pregame coverage begins at 6 p.m. from Pella Christian High School on 92.1 KRLS.

The Pella boys and girls teams will split up for varsity action Tuesday, when the boys travel to Gilbert, and the Lady Dutch welcome North Polk to PHS. Both varsity tips are at 7:30 p.m.

Pella’s wrestlers open the season Thursday when they dual with Pleasantville in the Tulip City. The opening match is set for 7:30. The Little and Lady Dutch bowlers will roll the lanes for the varsity season at Fairfield Saturday afternoon.
