After two inches of snow was in the forecast, the City of Indianola officially put the first snow ordinance of 2018 into effect on Sunday morning.

During the ordinance, vehicles are not allowed to be parked on city streets for the duration of the storm and until the streets are plowed. According to the Indianola Police Department, 74 tickets were issued, with 4 impounded cars and 2 accidents occurring during the snow ordinance.
