Both the Central College men’s and women’s soccer teams were represented on the United Soccer Coaches All-North Region squads released late Monday night.

Forward Miguel Pina was named to the second team, giving the men’s program its first all-region performer since 2010. Erin Manion was placed on the third team, having previously been on the first team in 2017 and the third team in 2016. Scoring seven of the team’s 23 goals, Pina was the top striker for the Dutch men. A 12-goal season by Manion was supplemented with seven assists, totaling a team-high 31 points.

On the men’s side, Central finished 9-9 (5-3 conference) after advancing to the conference tournament semifinals.

The Dutch women went 10-7-1 (4-4 conference), losing in the quarterfinals of the league tournament.
