The Indianola Public Library is hosting their monthly DIY for adults tonight, holiday wreath making.

Alison Brown with the library tells KNIA News her goal for the DIY for adults program is to get away from the step-by-step instructions we run into in life.

“I wanted to offer something that was something that adults could be creative with, and something that is open ended. I feel that as we get older we often get instructions on how to do things, and we don’t always get that chance to be creative.”

Future DIY for adult programs will include embroidery, soap making, and another wreath program in the spring. To sign up, visit the library and a $5 deposit is required. To hear more about the DIY for adults program, tune in to today’s Let’s Talk Indianola.
